Photos from my album!

North Parade, Bath, which was used for Mrs Smith's lodgings in the 1995 Persuasion adaptation.

The view down the long drive to the gorgeous house, Luckington Court, which was used in the 1995 adaptation of Pride and Prejudice.

Thatched cottages in Lacock - the pretty village used in the 1995 adaptation of Pride and Prejudice.

Lynnae, I truly hope you can come to England one day and see these places for yourself. I still get excited when I visit these lovely corners of the country, and I've visited them many times!

Loved the view down the drive to Luckington Court. I've got the "making of P&P" book and there is a description of the location hunting. They'd found Lacock and were just driving around in hopes when they caught a glimpse - just a flash - of ochre. The rest is history.

That's just how I found it - I knew the general area where the house was, and the colour of it can be seen from such a way off. There is a church next door, so I managed a few from there, but I didn't want to be too intrusive. It does look to be a beautiful house - and will always be Longbourn for me!
