Thank you - it was really nice - though cold and wet, because there were not many people about. Very sensibly, I think they had all decided it was better to stay inside!

The town looks so peaceful. These posts make me feel desperately in need of an Austen pilgrimage. It will happen someday, I just have no idea when. Thanks for sharing - it's the next best thing.

Bath is not normally so quiet, but it was very late and very cold. These streets are usually very busy with lots of people about - but that's all part of the fun.
I hope you make your pilgrimage one day!
